Decarbonising Industrial Sectors With The Help Of Large Scale Hydrogen Production And Storage

29 januari 2021 van 9:30 am tot 10:30 am

Green hydrogen has been gaining a lot of traction lately. Unlike blue hydrogen which is produced using fossil fuels, green hydrogen is produced using electricity from renewable resources, and has great potential for long-term energy storage. With the right strategy, green hydrogen could be a key component in the global energy transition!

As a warm-up for the upcoming 14th Energy Storage World Forum, we invite you to join us for a free pre-event webinar where 3 utility speakers will be sharing their views on decarbonisation using green hydrogen and the challenges that they face.

This panel discussion is absolutely free and will take place on Friday, 29 January 2021, 9.30am – 10.30am Central European Time (CET)

Topic:
Decarbonising Industrial Sectors With The Help Of Large Scale Hydrogen Production And Storage

• Identifying the main challenges that must be overcome in order to achieve a fossil-free industry

• Assessing the initial capital required and operating expenses to enable sector coupling

• Developing recommendations regarding the design and layout of a hydrogen value chain

Speakers:
Friedrich Kunz, Advisor Market Development, TENNET (GERMANY)
Wolfgang Pell, Chief Research Officer, VERBUND (AUSTRIA)
